Senior Citizen Seminars

This is the program that started it all. Medicare and Medicaid programs can be confusing to navigate for those who are new to these systems. Picking the right components for a Medicare Supplement can be challenging. Picking the wrong plan on one end means not enough coverage. Picking the wrong plan on the opposite end means overpaying on fixed income for coverage you aren't using. Each person's solution needs to be tailored to their personal situation, but helping explain the options in an easy to understand way is the key.

Thanksgiving Eve Bowling

A family tradition started out with a bowling night on Thanksgiving Eve. This started to grow to other family friends who would come into town to spend Thanksgiving with local family, but didn't quite have plans the night before. Since everyone was a horrible bowler, it didn't make sense to try and place any bets. A donation was proposed instead, with the proceeds going to different charities. As word got out, the group swelled towards nearly 100 people attending each year, with prizes being donated for a raffle at the end of the night. Proceeds were donated towards other Non-Profits, such as Family Forum, which helps reduce veteran homelessness with an amazing success rate. Around 7 years after the Thanksgiving Eve Bowling event started, someone finally broke 100 for their score.

Non-Profit Consulting

After going through the process personally to get National Medical Foundation started, other individuals have reached out to help understand the Non-Profit process further. Submitting an application to the IRS can be a challenging task, but one on one counseling helps ease the stress of this process. A small mishap on paperwork could delay a Non-Profit's mission from coming to fruition by months, and there's no reason that should happen.
